Sometimes we take our favorite music for granted by forgetting just how talented these heavy musicians really are, but thanks to the advent of games like Rock Band and the website YouTube, we can hear our favorite parts completely isolated from the rest of the band.

When a band submits a song to something like the Rock Band video game, they deliver whats called “recording stems” which are basically audio files containing each separate musicians parts on individual files. These heavy songs come directly from the recording studio in which the album was created, and are a great reminder of why we appreciate the artists we love.
